Training inquisitive researchers through a detailed curriculum
Master's degrees are offered in two specialties: Japanese
Language and Literature, and English Language and Literature.
These courses are made available to students who have
completed the four-year course, and who want to further deepen their understanding
of language and literature.
The knowledge and experience gained in the four years
of undergraduate studies are utilized by different students in different
ways, and one way is to advance to graduate school. For those fired with
the zeal to learn more, the master's degree offers careful academic guidance
and a whole world of research topics.
Quality is more important in education than ever, and
it is our goal to offer the highest quality through a detailed curriculum
that produces skilled researchers with creativity and a deep knowledge
of their chosen field. Recipients of the master's degree may also receive
an advanced teaching licence, and a special course of study in the teaching
of the Japanese language is provided for students of Japanese Language
and Literature. This Japanese-language instruction course, unusual in any
Japanese university, answers the demands of the age we live in.
Each course is limited to five students and all may apply,
including overseas students. No language competence test is required. |
