概要
対話型の授業による4技能の基礎訓練をする。
This class gives a basic training on four language skills through communicative tasks.

Speaking and listening skills will be developed through a variety of pair and group exercises. Students will be given opportunity to increase reading and writing proficiency through readings and writing assignments throughout the semester.
到達目標
基本的な「読む」「聴く」「書く」「話す」技能及び基本語彙力、基本会話能力の育成を目指す。
Students will reach a basic level in the four language skills, learn basic vocabulary, and be able to carry out a basic conversation.

By the end of the semester students should be able to:
1) Read a short passage at a speed of greater than 150 words per minute.
2) Submit a written assignment of around 120 words.
3) Comfortably engage in role play exercises in a variety of situations.
履修上の注意
It is understood that English ability will vary from student to student. Therefore, it is important that students understand that a considerable portion of the grade for this class will be based on the effort and willingness demonstrated throughout the semester.
