概要
The Faculty of Environmental and Symbiotic Sciences offers Intermediate English I (IE I) to its second-year students. IE I will build on what students learned in their first year of university English. The main focus will be on increasing students' reading and writing skills, but students will be expected to speak and listen to English. Students will learn to improve their reading speed; increase their vocabulary levels; and evaluate, summarize and discuss reading material. Homework will include preparation for class time and activities to enhance students' personal learning.
到達目標
Intermediate English I (IE I) builds on second-year students' university English and Internet-using abilities. Evaluating vocabulary, reading and writing will all be emphasized. Students completing IE I will have the ability to discuss timely topics of interest in English.
