概要
Students will make weekly individual in-class presentations utilizing Google Slides. As such, mastery of the online tools is important. Students will also be expected to review their own and other student presentations, and provide feedback to other students in class and thru their blogs. While the ultimate goal is for students to make interesting presentations, students will also work on speaking fluency, giving and receiving different kinds of feedback and evaluating other student presentations. All student presentations may be recorded and posted to the internet, and students will be expected to include them on their blog.
到達目標
Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to:
1. Deliver presentations effectively through correct use of gestures, eye contact and intonation
2. Use a variety of visual aids in order to enhance the clarity of presentations
3. Organize research and ideas coherently and clearly in order to make presentations
4. Post their presentation slides to their blogs and give and receive feedback
履修上の注意
Presentations require adequate preparation so students who are unprepared will have difficulty receiving a credit. The instructor will communicate thru Gmail so regular monitoring of Gmail is required. Students will also be asked to use englishcentral.com in order to improve their pronunciation and speaking fluency.

の方法
The grade will be broken down into the following components:
Presentations 70%
English Central 30%
Students will be graded for participation and presentation throughout the term.
成績評価基準
Students will be graded on their presentations and preparation as seen in class and documented on their blog. Failure to properly document your work may result in a failing grade.

The grade will be given for the presentations and the preparation leading up to them AS WELL AS timely submission/sharing of online presentations. Failure to share materials by the deadline will result in no credit for that presentation. Failure to prepare will result in a failing grade. Attendance is necessary to make and view presentations, which will be done in the class, so poor attendance will result in a failing grade. Completion of the EnglishCentral presentation module is also required for credit.
