概要
This course, along with Eigo Kyouiku Tokushu Kenkyuu Ib, is designed to help you write your graduation paper. In this second-semester course, each student will be actually writing their graduation paper, while filling in any gaps in their reading and conducting any experiments or surveys (optional). In class sessions, your job will be to: tell your teacher and the other students about your progress, sometimes informally, sometimes as a formal presentation; listen to and give feedback to other students; take part in one-on-one guidance with your teacher.
到達目標
By the end of the course, students will have finished writing their graduation thesis and will be able to describe the contents of the thesis as well as explain the reasons for the various choices they made in completing the study.
履修上の注意
In order to complete a graduation paper, it is essential that you make some kind of progress each week. The progress in this second semester has to be faster and more focused than that in the first semester. You will need to work constantly on your graduation paper, according to your plan developed in the first semester. You may also need to make principled adjustments to your plan. The required length and frequency of your class presentations is likely to increase.
授業計画
Students scheduled to present in a class (this may mean weekly presentations) are responsible for preparing the content and materials they are going to present. The teacher will add mini-lectures and supplementary explanations as appropriate, and distribute other materials as necessary.
Weeks 1-3: Interim presentations: Introduce your research topic and plan, and describe progress up to now
Weeks 4-7: Individual guidance
Weeks 8-9: Progress reports
Weeks 7-8: Gathering and organizing data
Weeks 10-12: Individual guidance
Weeks 13-15: Final presentations
