A detailed lecture schedule shall be distributed in the first week.
到達目標
1.To acquire basic knowledge about the British novelists in the 18th-20th centuries, and their masterpieces.
2.To acquire a Christian view of the history of British fiction
3.To acquire basic skills of giving academic presentations in English
履修上の注意
1. English is the only language we use in class, since imitating lessons in English Universities is probably one of the most effective methods to improve our English proficiency to an internationally competitive level (But take it easy; the instructor himself speaks basic English only).
2. For the fairness in assessment, no special consideration will be given to absence owing to your own reasons. Instead, class scores might be adjusted so that the average becomes approximately 75.
3. Please refrain from drinking in class. I need some more time to admit this kind of freedom. To me, it looks like a violation of etiquette.
