Today I'd like to write about my favorite movie, which is surely the Shawshank Redemption, a movie about a man accused and found guilty of a crime he didn't commit.
The main character is a banker named Andy who was arrested for the murder of his wife and her boyfriend, although in fact he didn't kill them. He was imprisoned because nobody believed what he said in court.
As his life in prison starts, he resists other people and they bully him. But after a period of time he gains people's trust. He is a quiet man but he has a sharp mind, and he used to be a banker. So he could help other prisoners with their financial problems, and sometimes even his warden.
After twenty years have passed, he has become indispensable to Shawshank Prison, but one day a very important person appears, important to Andy because he can prove his innoncence. On his word, it appears that Andy is going to be released from prison, but the warden doesn't want him to leave because he is necessary to the prison.
Can he escape? If you want to know, go and get it at a rental shop. Or alternatively go and watch it in the PUK tape library. It's well worth it.
